how to check visual acuity
visual acuity means eye sight or vision test
REQUIREMENT:-
1) snellens chart for literates or E chart for illiterates,placed at a distance of 6 meters.if you have not such space then you can use parallel mirrors which reflect the image of snellens chart and increase distance.
METHOD:-
1)cover one eye with a thick paper or card and ask person to read as much he can from the chart.the last letter which the person can read is its visual acuity.
2)now cover the other eye and do the same.
PRECAUTION:-
1)must read unioccularly.
2)gently cover the eyes do not firmly grip the eye with hand because it can blurr the vision for sometime and you can not get visual acuity exactly.
