    Basal cell carcinoma

·        Commonest  (95%)

·        spread locally

·        does not metastasise

·        treated by surgical excision.

    Squamous cell carcinoma

·        Less common ( 5%)

·        Metastasise

Treated by local excision, radiotherapy,and chemotherapy.
