Ectopia Lentis
Partial or complete dislocation of Natural lens from its physiological position is called Ectopia lentis.
Causes of Ectopia Lentis
- Trauma
- Hypermature cataract
- Marfan syndrome
- Well Marchesani syndrome
- Homocystinuria
Complications of Ectopia Lentis
- Secondary glaucoma
- Refractive problems
- Diplopia
- Migration into the Anterior chamber
Treatment
- Optical ( by prescribting glasses ).
- Surgical removal of lens
